One of my "Atlanta pieces", as posterity will know them.
"Quasi fugue", because I can't write fugues. Couldn't write them then; can't write them now now. The overwrought Epilogue was inspired partly by Leo Ornstein's "Suicide in an Airplane". He does it better, of course.
