All of a sudden India's civil condition has fallen by a mile. With over twenty separate bomb blasts around the country only this July, and a good many more bomb threats, civilians are literally imprisoned within their supposedly free country.
I don't know what pleasure these miserable creatures get from blowing up public places of recreation, killing loads of people and worsening the country's already poor economy by wasting (is that the right word?) millions of rupees!
People are being advised to avoid public places like malls and theaters. The condition right now tantamount to a state of emergency. Honestly, I'm quite surprised why a state of emergency has not already been declared. The police force in every metropolis ought to be vigilant and so should the public.
It's most unfortunate that, India being the second most populated country in the world, the police force here is hilariously sporadic. Sometimes the stubbornly self-righteous attitude of Indians just pisses me off. Hell, your lives are in danger. Your city's patrimony and beauty are in danger. Your country's economy is in danger.
And meanwhile, the Center is debating the Indo-US nuclear deal. How convenient. Unimaginably helpful. What more can I say? The masses ought to censure corrupt politicians who don't care about anything as long as their pockets get fed.
So my message to all Indians who may read this blog is this: Be alert, be prepared, and stay safe. India is the largest democracy, and not a place of anarchy.
