I went to a bookstore today, and there I spotted the pinnacle of human stupidity and ignorance, so as a testament to that I present these pictures that I took on my dad's cell phone. Tada!
The bookstore is a four-story behemoth. It's brand new and wonderful in terms of quality and variety. I bought Brisingr, the third installment in the Inheritance Trilogy by Christopher Paolini, there today. The store's amazingly, uh, world-class, save for this act of self-deprecation on the part of the management. Tut, tut.

hahahaha! to be quite honest, it's hard to tell what message it's trying to convey...
Very true! My dad jested saying it's 'restricted' since few people even use the elevator, and my mom's like it's good because they're trying to 'restrict' inconvenience. ^^
hahaha. well, you hit right on target. morons here tend to use direct translation A LOT. like they'd go like 'close the lights' and so on. as for that letter i posted on my blog, i'm suspecting the writer was from a far-off province (with a different dialect) who couldn't even speak Tagalog properly. haha
it's sad and amusing at the same time. yeah haha. that's just one among the many examples that i can't seem to recall right now. yeah, it's like that too. south indians suck at english more than the north indians because the british didn't even go to south india, as far as i know. the regional accents of the people here are quite comical. too bad you can't express them in writing. Lolz! they can't even speak tagalog properly? Haha. people like that can be found here, too; some even in my school. so they suck at english and when i correct them (i'm a nitpicker) they're all reluctant because they're not really crazy about english and all, and they can't even justify their aversion toward english because they suck at hindi as well (heck, i'm way better than them at hindi, and that is just sad.) well i guess there'll be people like that just as there'll be terrorists and other such immoral elements.
This just de-stressed me. Lol.Our company publishes these kinds of materials for Class D humor books. I saw a Malaysian sign that says "Please don't spit too loud" (you have to give credit in the grammar) in the park, and one Chinese sign saying "Careful Road Wet During Rain". Then there's this.:)
hey, ivy--(it's easier to call you that <>;)<>)--that's cool, man. humor's great. even if it means laughing at people. Yeah, i'm a cynic. ^^ROFL "spit too LOUD"?? What the fuck? Say that to the elephants if you want, but even they technically don't spit. i suppose they assumed that the person being addressed to--(if anyone in particular)--has the diet and manners of an elephant. okay, so that wasn't funny in the slightest."Careful road wet during rain"?? Hey, that kinda reminds me of this mail i once got. watch out for my next post, 'cuz i'm planning on displaying that. XDyeah, stupid people're all over the place. they all have brains, they can all use them, but they just don't know how. hell, hand a bazooka to an infant and he has the potential to wipe out a dozen people. but can he? these people have the potential to think. but can they?
