compz tomorrow

I'm just one frigging chapter short of totally finishing the computer textbook. I'll be able to manage it fine, but the bigger question here is - Will I be able to retain everything I read before? Answers to such questions inconveniently reveal themselves in the form of the test paper. I mean it's only when you KNOW what you SHOULD HAVE known that you realize that you DON'T KNOW it. Sadly, I don't know what I 'should have known' at this point of time, BUT I do know what I should have known the LAST time and I've made sure I KNOW it this time. In other words, I'm not likely to make the same mistake again, but there's always room for newer mistakes. This time, however, nothing short of 90% is going to satisfy me. Twice I've incurred marks in the 70s%, and I think that is more than enough experience. I don't know that practice makes a man perfect, and I'm sure you don't either. But they do. And I lack practice.

And in the morning today, on my way to school, I saw this large truck on the road that had tipped over and was lying on its, uh, side. It was a rather freaky sight, actually. But yeah, this wasn't a first time I saw a truck tilted 90 degrees more than it should: I distinctly remember seeing a eighteen-wheeler in a similar state in Seattle when I was a kid. But that was from a distance - this was up close.
