Here’s something I forgot to mention in my previous post: My mom is out of town right now. She went to Calcutta a couple of days ago for my great uncle’s last rites thing. She’s returning tonight. Owing to the fact that her absence was primarily in the weekend, I didn’t get to enjoy too much liberty—my dad was at home. On the contrary, I had a ton of housework to do: making my bed, doing the laundry, and so forth—things that I would normally not dream of doing. The present situation necessitates my doing them. Also, I went swimming yesterday for the first time this summer. Nothing significant about it: it’s just for the record. I’ll be going again this evening with my friend, who wasn’t free yesterday, and hence was unable to go with me.
Right now, I’m at my dad’s office. He invited my brother and me over for lunch since my mom wasn’t home. Presently, he’s gone off to a meeting, leaving me and my brother in his room. Taking advantage of that, I’m using his computer. Of course, the list of sites I can visit became a lot shorter thereby. But what the heck? It’s better than sitting at home and staring at a blank wall for the whole afternoon.
The singular purpose of this post is to set records for future reference (even though it’s highly unlikely that I’d give a shit about this later on), and not as an excuse to write. Hence, it’s this short.
