disappointment

I just learned that Chapter 356 of Bleach won’t be out until next week because that Weekly Shounen thing won’t be coming out in Japan this week, for whatever reason. That I’m frustrated goes without saying. I waited one whole week to find out what happens after Hitsugaya gets cut up by Halibel, and now they tell me I need to wait another week—7 fucking days of torture—the torture of being ignorant of something—of being left in the dark. Kubo had better write an extra chapter as an apology and because he has the time. Once a week is bad enough, but once in two weeks is just outrageous. I don’t have that kind of patience! A part of me wishes that I’d been introduced to Bleach a lot later so that there was no danger of running out of anime episodes to watch or manga chapters to read. But let’s be practical over here. Bleach isn’t coming out this week. Kubo’s probably sitting wherever he usually sits and treating himself to his favorite dish in celebration of the fact that he gets more time to think of the future of Bleach, and doesn’t have to rush through Bleach like he seems to be doing every time I read a new chapter. The next chapter had better be more organized than the last few. And he seriously needs to think of a better idea of building up suspense at the end of the chapter than killing off the first character that comes to his mind. In a show like Bleach, homicide becomes a cliché, and thus the chapters become predictable. My only hope now is that my weeklong wait for 356 pays off, or I’m going to be one disappointed teenager.

Today was the last day of that robotics course I had signed up for and spoken of in my previous post. I was allowed to bring home the basic robot that I made. What the heck? I had every right to bring it home from the start: my mom had clandestinely paid to bring the robot home (you have the option of taking it home or leaving it there, and you had to pay more for the former, of course), completely against my will. I have no interest in the tin can that they called a robot, nor any patience to pretend otherwise. Another reason is that I’m frugal to the point of being miserly, and I didn’t think brining the robot home was worth it. Hell, the course itself wasn’t worth it. Our internet bill is the only exorbitant expenditure of ours that I’m not willing to reduce. Anyway, the course’s over, and I can forget all about it.
