Okay, contrary to what I said earlier about not caring whether or no school was open, missing so many classes seems pretty scary right now – especially after I talked to my physics teacher last week. Notwithstanding his tendency to go into histrionics while talking about things and exaggerating facts beyond comprehension, he seemed pretty believable when he said I’d be missing so much that I wouldn’t even be able to “crawl back” afterwards. It’s pretty scary to be told such a thing by a teacher. My parents optimistically seem to believe otherwise, though. I don’t know what to believe. Hopefully my idea of asking Nicky to update me every day on classes will work. Fate seems to be on my side already. Yesterday, apparently, the supremely reliable air-conditioning system broke down on them and plunged everyone into an oblivion where it was impossible to study. Jenny (the p. teacher’s ignoble nickname) of course was not affected by it at all, and I imagine he went on teaching as if it were perfectly normal for fifty or so students to be stuffed into an unventilated classroom on a hot May afternoon. Judging by the absence of a chemistry update, the chemistry teacher was absent, too. The math teacher – a woman, just for the record – Benny, as I’ve decided to call her for consistency’s sake, was apparently the only one sensible enough to realize that teaching while being stifled is impossible in every sense of the word. And classes today, apparently, were off. Hopefully this will continue until I’m back.
Seattle weather isn’t so bad, anyway. It’s a huge improvement over Indian weather, and despite the fact that it gets pretty chilly at times, I totally love this weather. We had dinner last night at an Indian restaurant in Redmond Town Center with an uncle of mine, whose age is midway between mine and my dad’s. It’s so weird, my dad coming all the way to Seattle to eat at an Indian restaurant. I mean fine, if you’ve been living here for long and start feeling homesick it’s understandable. But this is plain preposterous. I really wanted to try out the Thai restaurant next door. So much for that. Cheap Indian food wins again. End of rant. Tomorrow I’ll be visiting the University of Washington to check the place out. My counselor should be there, too. Later in the day, I’m supposed to meet her at a coffee shop in order to discuss things that need to be discussed. Very dubious, if you ask me, but apparently it helps. What worries me is that my dad might be there. I’m practically totally suave when my parents are not around, and completely the opposite when they are. It’s very weird talking to people in front of them, especially since they’re Indian parents – conservative and all that. I’m much better off alone. Those were my individualistic instincts kicking in, just in case you were curious.
Bleach 403 was stupid. It seemed to perpetuate the notion that Aizen is invincible to anything. It wouldn’t take great observation skills to notice that Aizen’s manage to recover from or not at all be affected by every single attack that’s been inflicted on him from the start of the series. I suppose the intention is to make him appear all that strong so that, when Ichigo finally knocks the living daylights out of him, his victory would appear all that impressive. A climatic ending is, of course, desirable, but dragging things on like this ad nauseam is not. Driving Aizen to the point of dying and then having him come back twice as strong as before would have been infinitely more interesting. And that freaky Hogyoku outfit of his – ugh. It’s totally stupid. He looks like that little white mascot of the Pillsbury Company. Only the latter actually looks good. Actually Aizen more closely resembles that STUUUUUPID Little Moonlight Rider character you’d find on Disney XD if you’re in India. And now for a moment of intense Jejemonism: U SUCK AIZEN!!!!!

Huh. Jenny said that? Wow. Freaky. I told my dad about Nikki going to Egypt, and he was like, 'see, everyone skips a couple of classes to go somewhere, why don't you ever agree??' and I was like '... Sorry I wasn't born smart enough to cope.' XD
Ah, I hope it works for you, too. Seeing through my incoherency and trying to extract learnable material is hard =P and there are some things you just can't understand without a notebook/teacher -__-
Benny LOL I like it! Yeah, we had her period first, and she let us out. Jenny snatched a period already to get a double class; the AC was supposedly working by then, but I highly doubt it -__- the fan on the girls' side can't swing, so we took turns standing in front of it. Pathetic.
Argh, I'm pretty sure the weather there is awesome! Today I turned on the cold water for my shower, and guess what happens?? I have freaking burn blisters on my foot now! It hurts!
Hehe. I hate it when that happens-- going all the way somewhere and eating Indian food ~.~ bah!
Good luck for your meeting and stuff. I know-- I'm terribly awkward in front of my parents; they lived with the impression that I was a total anti-social for a long time-- till my mom saw me at Infy XD she stopped pestering me about communication skills after that =P my dad still does though *grimaces*
Me and me brother were totally laughing at aizen today. The pillsbury boy HAHAHA and that dumb thing on Disney-- never had the misfortune to watch it; but saw an ad LOL
Nikki came back today. She obviously didn't know classes started =P and she was worried about her section LOL
Oh, Jenny that greedy, conniving...
You get the idea.
I know... that thing with the water happens all the time. More so for us because we have one of those black, plastic tanks on our roof ever since our waterproofing dude decided that they were more efficient than the cement ones. yeah.. you get the idea. Basically what happens is that you get a great opportunity to study near 100% heat transfer.
don't tell nikki until i come back!!! lol
argh.. i meant "came"... clumsiness and conscientiousness are a terrible combination
100 percent heat transfer hahaha!! XD
oops. too late-- she came to school today =P
