All right, here's news. I found out from a reliable source that classes are going to start on the 7th. Meaning we are not going to get much of a summer break, exactly as I'd guessed. With the kind of sadistic douchebags they have working for them, I'm surprised classes didn't start way back when the tests ended. Notice that the word I'm constantly using is "classes" and not "school". I have to hand it to them, they were really clever to find out a loophole in the no-school-in-the-summer rule that the Board of Intermediate Education promulgated as part of its policy of doing one good deed in a lifetime. These "classes" are in the evening, from 4.30 to 7.30. They wouldn't qualify as actual school classes, but what is known, in some parts of the world, as "extra classes" -- a euphemism for "summer torture". Well, at least there will be airconditioners there, and if we're lucky, they'll be fully functional.
Other news: The terrorist who was charged with perpetrating the November 2008 terror attacks in Bombay was convicted today, after about a million years. The court said he was... guilty. Wow. How shrewd. I mean, the guy admitted it himself ages ago, or at least that's the impression the newspapers gave me. A couple of months ago there was another article in the newspaper. It was regarding the fact that this terrorist was having a great time in jail, because his every wish was something of everyone's command, as far as keeping him healthy and in good shape to go to the court every day was concerned, at the country's expense. They mentioned some figures as well, which was the total cost of keeping the guy alive. It was an exorbitant amount; something I wouldn't care to spend on a terrorist. I mean, why keep him alive in the first place when it was patently clear that he wasn't going to reveal anything about anything anyway? And now, even after he's been convicted, they're debating whether he should be hanged. What's to debate? Obviously he deserves to die. Mother Teresa might have thought so, too. Although if you ask me, a slow, torturous death is what the situation calls for. Gosh, where's the CIA when you need it?
Let me tell you a story. It's about a cow that ate a chicken. This has no relation to the old show that Cartoon Network used to air. The chicken went and attacked a cow hotel in the manner of the terrorists and was afterwards aprehended by the cow police. The cow police took the chicken in cow-cuffs to the cow court, where the cow judge took one look at its face and said, "My, look at that chicken! It's practically seething with malevolence. He must be executed. Send for the National Cook and tell him to prepare a chicken stew." And the chicken was cooked and the cows happily ate it. That's how it ended in the cow-and-chicken world. I wonder why people don't learn from these things. Menu: justice, chicken stew; cost: minimal. I'm not advocating cannibalism, unless, of course, you are a cannibal. There are plenty of other things you could do with him. Like, say, process him (alive, obviously) into manure and bury him someplace. It's good for the plants.

last paragraph cracked me up.
on a serious note though, it's a question i've been asking people. unless they need to worm more things out of the fucker there's no point keeping him alive. others have been hanged for less serious crime, actually.
i know.. apparently he's been sentenced to death on five separate charges... so technically just killing him would add up to 1/5th of justice delivered. *cough* like i was saying.. torture!! >:)
humanity in general is one big hypocrite. torturing is inhumane as a rule, which is why they don't subscribe to the idea. or at least that's what they'd have us believe. i doubt if this guy hasn't suffered under the fbi. but for what he did, torture should be left to the public. slow, agonizing death... i dream of that.
'Mother Teresa might have thought so, too.' XD LOL
im so glad he's gonna be executed. i would have been really -- annoyed is an understatement-- if they didnt decide to hang him. im hoping the SC rules in favor of the decision, if he tries to move the court (which he undoubtedly will) and im pretty sure the president wont give him a pardon. a lot of people would be quite angry if she did -_- in other words, i dont expect him to die by the end of the decade. stupid red tape and complicated processes >.<
LOL @ the cow and chicken stuff!!
