I got an email from Carnegie Mellon the other day saying that they hadn’t received my TOEFL score report, which I thought was strange, because I distinctly remembered having ordered it. I even had the order receipt confirmation email from TOEFL, which clearly indicated that I had ordered a report for Carnegie Mellon. I didn’t want to bother my Indian counselor with it, since she has a tendency to freak out for the most insignificant reasons. So I called CMU, just to make sure. They said they had not received it. Then I called TOEFL Services, and they agreed to send another score report to CMU free of charge. There ends the tale. It’s a good thing CMU was nice enough to notify me, or I would never have known. Hopefully, I will have no such problems with the colleges that aren’t as nice.
