The layout you behold now (see, this presupposes that people still read my blog) was my first, back in the days that marked the modest (and indeed, embarrassing) beginning of a pointless but energetic blogging career - the days that now seem so distant that they may well be an illusion. It's perhaps a little ironic - or will be, if I decide that my time is come. What was that old adage about every cup of tea eventually being finished? Oh, right. I made that one up. Adages for every occasion seem to be my speciality. Here's another: the monologue is the last thing you see before you die. Rings true, doesn't it? Talking in lengthy monologues is a sure sign that not all is well in the cranium. It certainly would explain my own lunatic predispositions and tendencies toward narcissism and self-worship. I've made my decision. And so it is with grace and irony that I, Kaiser Octavius, lord of the night and all that is vile, retire forever, and consign my immortal name to the even-more-immortal flames of dead reality. This shall be my last entry here. Goodbye, everyone.

EDIT: As you can see, I've changed my mind, and returned to the good ol' Byakuya layout - the one among the layouts I've made of which I'm proudest. The reason for this change of mind, as any Tom, Dick, or Harry would have guessed, is precisely my tendencies toward narcissism and self-worship. Jerks like me tend not to give up the glory they bestow upon themselves. So, dear reader, if such as you remain, I am here to stay for a long time yet.
