The end of the world is nigh! Only nine days away. If this is going to begin looking like the whole 2012 thing last year, then I'm going to face-palm fatally. Oh, and remember Kyoraku's ominous message at the end of the previous chapter? That Ichigo and his friends will soon be parting ways forever? Turns out there's no need to worry after all: it only means that Ichigo won't be permitted to return to the World of the Living, because his newly acquired powers would destroy it. (He's more powerful even than Aizen was at the height of his Little-Moonlight-Rider glory.) Each of his friends gets a special Soul Ticket, with the aid of which they can visit Ichigo in the Soul Society whenever they please. Kyoraku didn't have to do that, especially after having to brook these so-called friends' rude outbursts at him. They should know by now, too, that they aren't really his friends, since they haven't been blessed with powers of any sort, and haven't accompanied him on any of his missions. Speaking of those friends, I can't stand Orihime anymore. I wish Ulquiorra had taken her with him. Back to the matter at hand. The world will end in nine days, but before then, we have a five-week hiatus - five weeks of seclusion to allow the Master to come up with something, we can hope, better than the Aizen battle.
