There are raccoons in the attic, which explains the strange noises that are heard betimes in various parts of the house. This morning we discovered that a baby raccoon had somehow ended up on the driveway, in front of the garage door that is never opened, and is still there, cooing helplessly. I took my dogs out on a leash one at a time to see how they would react. The older one barked aggressively, while the younger one seemed to want to play with it. Aizen knows what kind of animal they thought it was.

We gave it some water, which it is hoped is not something that isn't done. I mean, I hope it doesn't die. Shortly a guy is supposed to come to take care of the raccoons in the attic, preferably in a humane way, and deal with the baby raccoon shown above.

Yeah, but these things are riddled with worms and other parasites that pose a threat to human health.
