bleach 667 [spoilers, obviously]

More humor at Hitsugaya's expense. Is it any wonder I'm enjoying this arc?

So Zaraki post-Unohana is in possession of a Shikai, and Byakuya and Hitsugaya are relevant once again. It appears that Kubo is unwilling to let go of the good old characters, even as other characters of vastly greater strength are materializing all around them. I recall reading a while ago that Byakuya was only a strong character inasmuch as Ichigo during the invasion arc was a weak character. He was, as it were, merely a stepping stone for Ichigo - rather a sad way to look at one's favorite character. But now it looks like Kubo has taken to writing fan fiction instead of canon, and Byakuya and Hitsugaya and Zaraki are all silently becoming the more powerful. I repeat, is it any wonder I'm enjoying this arc? Given that this is the final arc and everything, I say, go big or go home.
